googles new payment processor is launching at the end of the month
http://news.zdnet.com/2100-9588_22-6082746.html
Google's online payment system, Gbuy, is expected to launch June 28, further pitting the Internet giant against industry titan and rival eBay, according to a research note released Friday by a Wall Street analyst.
Gbuy is expected to be free during the initial phase, but merchants may eventually be charged a 1.5 percent to 2 percent per-transaction fee, Jordan Rohan, an RBC Capital Markets analyst, said in his research note. A fee of that size would be slightly less than that charged by eBay's online payment system, PayPal.

We in Australia have been looking for a good PayPal alternative. They have a monopoly and therefore the fees involved in running an Ebay business can be prohibitive. I have been a member for 8 years but avoid using them if I can do a deal in cash or E-Gold. They have a long record of freezing accounts for little reason. I haven't had mine frozen but I live in fear.. The nightmare became worse after Stormpay stole a large amount of non-autosurf/HYIP funds from me that I received for legitimate work. I don't think that PayPal would do this, but no-one thought that Stormpay would do it either.

Yes I remember you saying to watch out for Stormpay. You were right. They still owe me $600 that they froze when I enquired why they had not sent me a checque after waiting for 8 weeks.
I trust Google to run a payment processor, but I have noticed a lot of their seaches contain dead links these days. That side of their business is not as good as it was before.
