"NEW VERIFICATION SYSTEM
We have added a great new verification system to AlertPay. It provides step-by-step instructions on what documents you are required to upload and provides the functionality for uploading your verification documents.
You simply select the category of information that you are uploading (Photo ID or Address Verification) and the type of information the document contains. You can then browse your computer and select the document to upload. Once you complete an upload, the documents are immediately and securely submitted to AlertPay for approval. It's that simple!
Once AlertPay receives all your required verfication documents, they will be reviewed and checked against the information on your AlertPay profile. The information contained in your documents must match the information on your AlertPay profile in order for them to be approved and your AlertPay account verified.
Once uploaded, each submitted document will be given one of the following statuses:
Submitted: The document has been successfully received by AlertPay.
Processing: The document is currently being reviewed and is a decision is pending.
Approved: The document has been accepted as a valid photo or address verification.
Declined: The document has NOT been accepted as a valid proof of photo or address verification. You must now submit a new document to complete your verification submission.
Expired: The submitted document no longer matches your current AlertPay profile information. This is usually caused by updating your personal profile information. You must now submit a new document in this category to complete your verification submission. Please be aware that any changes to your address in your AlertPay profile will cause your address verification documents to expire.
If one document from each category - Photo Verification AND Address Verification - has been approved, then your AlertPay account will automatically be set to Verified, and you will be a verified AlertPay member.
If you are not a verified AlertPay member, then log in to your AlertPay account and see how it works. Simply click on the Become Verified link on your Account Overview page. If you have submitted your verification documents by fax and have not been verified, then it is likely that the documents were not clear. Please resubmit your documents using the new verification system."
